Warners lakeside Upgrade
Warner Lakeside Leisure Hotel on Hayling Island recently upgraded from a rather tired Peavey PA in the main show lounge to a BROOKE audio system, concept’s special projects team headed by Danny Schurer undertook an overnight installation as not to affect the guest experience and upgraded the main PA / Delays / Amp-processing racks and FOH Position.
Lakesides Guest experience manager "Mark Pheasant" decided on a Brooke audio system for its rich vocal clarity & modern looking box design, the brief was to install a new left/right stack for main FOH duties which the room had never benefited from before and upgrade the Delays so that a balanced sound could be mixed for the room without the need for any part of the system to be louder than the other, so for this application a pair of twin 18" ALPHA 2218 sub's & 15" x 2" ALPHA XPRO stacked either stage of the stage as a main L&R with 8X BROOKE 8" X 12 BETA NFRPRO placed in the centre as delays.
Control Rack end 2X BROOKE DELTA digital amps took care of FOH stacks & 3X Crown LPS800 handled the delays and existing restaurant Bose ceiling speakers, with 2X DBX Driverack PA+'s looking after loudspeaker management/EQ/Delay ect.
At FOH a new Soundcraft MFX120 analogue mixer has been installed with 4 new Trantec S4.16 UHF Handheld mics.
